Vehicle 2 [the 2018 Freightliner driven by Danny Stratmeier] continued to turn onto Road R and was struck on the drivers side. Vehicle 1 [the 2008 Ford Escape driven by Melissa Ramos] continued straight into the southwest ditch of K25 and came to a rest. Vehicle 2 [the 2018 Freightliner driven by Danny Stratmeier] veered back to the right after being struck by Vehicle 1 [the 2008 Ford Escape driven by Melissa Ramos]. Vehicle 2 [the 2018 Freightliner driven by Danny Stratmeier] then rolled onto the drivers side and came to rest in the southwest ditch.

Injuries

Ramos's injuries were serious. Ramos was taken by ambulance to Kearny Community Hospital.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the 2008 Ford Escape with Kansas license plate number 365PUS damage was unknown. This vehicle was insured. State Farm Ins. insured this vehicle. This vehicle was removed by Travs. The police said they do not know where the vehicle was taken.
