Vehicle 1 [the 2008 Ford Escape driven by Melissa Ramos] continued straight into the southwest ditch of K25 and came to a rest. Vehicle 2 [the 2018 Freightliner driven by Danny Stratmeier] veered back to the right after being struck by Vehicle 1 [the 2008 Ford Escape driven by Melissa Ramos]. Vehicle 2 [the 2018 Freightliner driven by Danny Stratmeier] then rolled onto the drivers side and came to rest in the southwest ditch.
Injuries
Stratmeier's injuries were minor. Stratmeier was taken by ambulance to Kearny Community Hospital.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the 2018 Freightliner with Kansas license plate number 696504 damage was unknown. This vehicle was insured. United Casualty Co. insured this vehicle. This vehicle was removed by Southwest Towing Garden City. The police said they do not know where the vehicle was taken.
