Eli Whittaker of Atchison, Kansas was killed on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 02:49 PM in Doniphan County, Kansas. Whittaker is a 26-year-old man.

Vehicle 2 [the 2020 Honda Talon UTV driven by Jarret Scholz] slowed for traffic and Vehicle 1 [the 2005 Kawasaki 750 Brute Force ATV driven by Eli Whittaker] failed to slow. Vehicle 1 [the 2005 Kawasaki 750 Brute Force ATV driven by Eli Whittaker] attempted to avoid striking Vehicle 2 [the 2020 Honda Talon UTV driven by Jarret Scholz] in the rear and swerved to the left. Vehicle 1 [the 2005 Kawasaki 750 Brute Force ATV driven by Eli Whittaker] clipped the rear of vehicle 2 causing it to overturn and cross into the path of vehicle 3. Vehicle 1 [the 2005 Kawasaki 750 Brute Force ATV driven by Eli Whittaker] was struck by Vehicle 3 [the 2005 Mercury Sable driven by Donna Caples].
Injuries
Whittaker's injuries were fatal. Whittaker was taken by ambulance to Harmon-Rohde Funeral Home.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the 2005 Kawasaki 750 Brute Force Atv with Kansas license plate number damage was unknown. This vehicle was removed by Davies. The police also said, "No license plate."
