Andrew Joy Injured in a Crash on August 09, 2021 in Chase County, Kansas

Andrew J. Joy of Cottonwood Falls, Kansas was injured on Monday, August 09, 2021 at 01:55 PM in Chase County, Kansas. Joy is a 13-year-old boy.

The crash happened here: 210 Road just east of Cottonwood Falls or three tenths of a mile miles east of Ks.177 on 210 Road.

Vehicle 1 [the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Sharon Wilson] was westbound on 210 Road. Pedestrian 1 was in the middle of the bridge fishing on the north rail on the north end of the bridge. Pedestrian 1 turned to the left to go south and was struck by vehicle 1.

Injuries

Joy's injuries were minor. Joy was taken by ambulance to Newman Regional Health.

The police said the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder with Kansas license plate number 556LLG damage was unknown. This vehicle was insured. Progressive insured this vehicle.

This statute imposes on those subject to it "a civil penalty in an action brought by the attorney general or county or district attorney" of up to "$500 for each violation." Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
