Levi Minkevitch Killed in a Crash on February 17, 2021 in Harvey County, Kansas

Levi Minkevitch of Peabody, Kansas was killed on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 03:58 PM in Harvey County, Kansas. Minkevitch is a 30-year-old man.

The crash happened here: .3 miles east of Harvest Hill Road on Dutch ave. or seven tenths of a mile miles west of north Osage Road on Dutch ave.

Vehicle 1 [the 2014 Canam ATV driven by Levi Minkevitch] was driving in the ditch approximately 1/2 miles East of Harvest Hill road on Dutch Ave. The rider attempted to jump the ditch into the adjacent field. The rider lost control and rolled the ATV into the creek.

Injuries

Minkevitch's injuries were fatal. Minkevitch was taken by ambulance to Newton Medical.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the 2014 Canam Atv with Kansas license plate number damage was unknown. This vehicle was removed by Johns Towing.

In order to get the report through the KSHP website, you must create a Kansas.gov account and give them your credit card. You must agree to be subject to Kansas Statute 45-230: Unlawful Use of Names Derived from Public Records. This statute imposes on those subject to it "a civil penalty in an action brought by the attorney general or county or district attorney" of up to "$500 for each violation." Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
