Plliana Mupenzi of Garden City, Kansas was killed on Tuesday, June 08, 2021 at 03:14 PM in Finney County, Kansas. Mupenzi is a 5-year-old girl.

Vehicle 1 [the 2012 Ford Edge driven by Marcial Medina-Garcia] drove left of center, striking vehicle 2 in a side swiping motion. Vehicle 2 [the 2009 Chevy Traverse driven by Juliana Furaha] went into the westbound ditch. Vehicle 1 [the 2012 Ford Edge driven by Marcial Medina-Garcia] bounced off vehicle 2 and struck vehicle 3, driver side to driver side. Both vehicles came to a rest on the westbound shoulder.
Injuries
Mupenzi's injuries were fatal. Mupenzi was taken by ambulance to St. Catherine Hospital.

The police said the 2009 Chevy Traverse with Kansas license plate number 037PAG damage was unknown. This vehicle was insured. Progressive Insurance insured this vehicle. This vehicle was removed by Piland Wrecking.
