Christy Stierwalt Injured in a Crash on April 28, 2022 in Sedgwick County, Kansas

Christy D Stierwalt of Wichita, Kansas was injured on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 12:40 PM in Sedgwick County, Kansas. Stierwalt is a 32-year-old woman.

Both vehicles were Northbound on I135. Vehicle 1 [the 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Ciera Bastedo] was traveling in the outside lane and Vehicle 2 [the 2015 Toyota Sienna driven by Erin Hecker] was traveling in the inside lane. Vehicle 1 [the 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Ciera Bastedo] drove toward the outside shoulder, then over-corrected and lost control. Vehicle 1 [the 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Ciera Bastedo] struck Vehicle 2 [the 2015 Toyota Sienna driven by Erin Hecker] as it rotated.

Injuries

Stierwalt's injuries were minor. Stierwalt was taken by ambulance to St. Francis.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer with Kansas license plate number 987NXU damage was unknown. This vehicle was insured. Dairyland Insurance Company insured this vehicle.
