Vehicle 1 [the 2003 Dodge Ram driven by Javan Ervin] was North bound on Ridge Road at a high rate of speed and failed to stop at the red traffic light at Central Ave. Vehicle 1 [the 2003 Dodge Ram driven by Javan Ervin] collided with Vehicle 2 [the 2000 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Jordan Peltzer] that was West bound on Central Ave. This caused the driver side rear wheels & tires to detach from the vehicle which collided with Vehicle 3 [the 2016 Jepp Compass driven by Connie Holt] that was stopped on the inside left turn lane from South bound Ridge Rd to East bound Central Ave. Vehicle 1 [the 2003 Dodge Ram driven by Javan Ervin] then collided with Vehicle 4 [the 2019 Mazda CX3 driven by Samantha Russell] which was stopped behind Vehicle 3 [the 2016 Jepp Compass driven by Connie Holt] in the inside left turn lane from South bound Ridge Rd to East bound Central Ave. Vehicle 1 [the 2003 Dodge Ram driven by Javan Ervin] then rolled onto its top and came to a rest in the North bound lanes of Ridge Rd.
Injuries
Russell's injuries were fatal. Russell was taken by ambulance to Wesley Medical.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the 2019 Mazda Cx3 with Kansas license plate number 784MJJ damage was unknown. This vehicle was insured. Nationwide Mutual insured this vehicle. This vehicle was removed by Happy Hooker.
