Vehicle 1 [the John Deere 4440 Tractor driven by Everette Redburn] left the roadway to the South for an unknown reason. The driver of vehicle 1 was ejected from the tractor while going through the ditch. The tractor continued driving uncontrollably through the field, moving in a circular motion just South of the roadway. The tractor came near to the area where the driver was ejected, possibly running the driver over. A witness in vehicle 2, attempted to stop the unmanned tractor by using his vehicle. The tractor collided with vehicle 2, continued to the North, then came to rest in the ditch.
Injuries
Redburn's injuries were serious. Redburn was taken by ambulance to Wesley Medical Center.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the John Deere 4440 Tractor with Kansas license plate number damage was unknown. The police also said, "Tractor was towing a 569 Premium round baler at the time of the accident."
