Ryan Kohman Injured in a Crash on May 05, 2021 in Barton County, Kansas

Ryan James Kohman of Great Bend, Kansas was injured on Wednesday, May 05, 2021 at 03:40 PM in Barton County, Kansas. Kohman is a 23-year-old man.

Vehicle 2 [the 2012 GMC Sierra 3500 driven by Gerald Hinson] was traveling Northbound on U281. Vehicle 1 [the 2002 Western Star Semi driven by Francisco Martinez-Solano] blew a left front steering tire causing the vehicle to cross the center line into the path of vehicle 2. Vehicle 1 [the 2002 Western Star Semi driven by Francisco Martinez-Solano] continued into the east ditch and rolled onto its side, Vehicle 2 [the 2012 GMC Sierra 3500 driven by Gerald Hinson] came to rest in the east ditch.

Injuries

Kohman's injuries were serious. Kohman was taken by ambulance to Ku Med Great Bend.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the 2012 Gmc Sierra 3500 with Kansas license plate number 629692 damage was unknown. This vehicle was insured. Columbia Mutual Insurance insured this vehicle. This vehicle was removed by Marshalls Towing. It was taken to Tow Lot. The police also said, "Hauling a 1998 OT Trailer with a Kansas Tag 597052."
