Abigail Hett Killed in a Crash on May 30, 2021 in Saline County, Kansas

Abigail Hett of Lindsborg, Kansas was killed on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 01:27 PM in Saline County, Kansas. Hett is a 10-year-old girl.

The crash happened here: I135 milepost 81.2 southbound or 8 miles south of Salina.

Vehicle 1 [the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 driven by Christopher Giroux] was traveling northbound on I135 when it failed to maintain its lane, drove into the median, merged onto the southbound side of I135 and struck Vehicle 2 [the 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Phillip Hett].

This statute imposes on those subject to it "a civil penalty in an action brought by the attorney general or county or district attorney" of up to "$500 for each violation." Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
