Rebecca Castillo Killed in a Crash on May 13, 2021 in Greenwood County, Kansas

Rebecca A Castillo of Augusta, Kansas was killed on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 06:08 AM in Greenwood County, Kansas. Castillo is a 41-year-old woman.

Vehicle 1 [the 1998 Ford F150 driven by Jennifer Hoffman] was eastbound, Vehicle 2 [the 1998 Peterbuilt driven by Travis Martin] was westbound. Vehicle 1 [the 1998 Ford F150 driven by Jennifer Hoffman] crossed the center line and struck Vehicle 2 [the 1998 Peterbuilt driven by Travis Martin] in westbound lanes of U400. Vehicle 1 [the 1998 Ford F150 driven by Jennifer Hoffman] came to rest on its rooftop on top of the westbound guardrail. Vehicle 2 [the 1998 Peterbuilt driven by Travis Martin] slowed and stopped on the westbound shoulder.

Injuries

Castillo's injuries were fatal. Castillo was taken by ambulance to Sedgwick County Forensics Science Center.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the 1998 Ford F150 with Kansas license plate number 610KCM damage was unknown. This vehicle was insured. Key Insurance Company insured this vehicle. This vehicle was removed by Flint Hills Customs.

In order to get the report through the KSHP website, you must create a Kansas.gov account and give them your credit card. You must agree to be subject to Kansas Statute 45-230: Unlawful Use of Names Derived from Public Records. This statute imposes on those subject to it "a civil penalty in an action brought by the attorney general or county or district attorney" of up to "$500 for each violation." Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
