Anthony Heatherly Injured in a Crash on January 13, 2021 in Leavenworth County, Kansas

Vehicle 1 [the 2006 Hyundai Sonata driven by Luis Solorzano-Avila] made an evasive manuever and struck Vehicle 2 [the 2019 Volkswagon Jetta driven by Anthony Heatherly] on the rear left corner. Vehicle 1 [the 2006 Hyundai Sonata driven by Luis Solorzano-Avila] veered off into the field on the Northwest corner of the intersection. Vehicle 2 [the 2019 Volkswagon Jetta driven by Anthony Heatherly] became disabled in the lane.

Injuries

Heatherly's injuries were minor. Heatherly was taken by ambulance to Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

The police said the 2019 Volkswagon Jetta with Kansas license plate number 682KHU damage was unknown. This vehicle was insured. State Farm insured this vehicle. This vehicle was removed by Logan Tow.
