Vehicle 1 [the 2009 Pontiac G8 driven by Juan Marquez] was eastbound on Loring Lane at a high rate of speed while eluding Bonner Springs Police Department. Driver lost control and vehicle 1 went into a spin and struck a speed limit sign. After impact the vehicle continued in a backwards direction and struck a tree.
