Brian L Rucker of Atwood, Kansas was involved in a crash on Wednesday, January 1st 2020 at 3:30 pm in Rawlins County, Kansas. Rucker is a 49-year-old man.
In the crash, Rucker was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche. The crash happened here: K25 mile post 221 north bound or 4 miles south of Atwood on K25 The police described the crash like this:
Vehicle 1 was north bound on K25 at the 221 when vehicle 1 went right off of the roadway into the east ditch and down a ravine. Vehicle 1 rolled an unknown amount of times into the ravine and came to rest facing north west on its wheels.
Injuries
The police said that Rucker had suspected serious injury. Rucker was taken to Rawlins County Health Center.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche with Kansas license plate number 139BWZ was not stated. It was insured by Shelter Mutual Insurance Company. It was removed from the crash scene by CW Beamgard Co Inc and taken to Lot.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
The Kansas State Highway Patrol Trooper with badge number K339 wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned case number 2020-000038 to this crash. The KSHP charges $5.00 for each copy of the report plus additional fees of $2.00 for each witness statement. But you can call 877-925-1969 to request a free copy of the report. In order to get the report through the KSHP website, you must create a Kansas.gov account and give them your credit card. You must agree to be subject to Kansas Statute 45-230: Unlawful Use of Names Derived from Public Records. This statute imposes on those subject to it "a civil penalty in an action brought by the attorney general or county or district attorney" of up to "$500 for each violation."
