Amanda K Thurston of Ft Scott, Kansas was involved in a crash on Saturday, February 23rd 2019 at 6:16 am in Crawford County, Kansas. Thurston is a 34-year-old woman.
In the crash, Thurston was driving a 2003 GMC Envoy. The crash happened here: U69 51.3 or U69, 30 feet 1 inch north of E 700th Ave. The police described the crash like this:
Vehicle 1 was traveling northbound on U-69. Vehicles 2, 3, and, 4 were southbound on U-69. Vehicle 1 crossed the center line and side swiped Vehicle 2. Vehicle 1 then struck Vehicle 3 head on. Vehicle 4 then struck the left rear of Vehicle 1, causing Vehicle 1 to overturn onto its driver's side.

The police said that Thurston had suspected serious injury. Thurston was taken to Pittsburg VIA Christi Hospital.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
The Kansas State Highway Patrol Trooper with badge number K510 wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned case number 2019-003152 to this crash. The KSHP charges $5.00 for each copy of the report plus additional fees of $2.00 for each witness statement. But you can call 877-925-1969 to request a free copy of the report. In order to get the report through the KSHP website, you must create a Kansas.gov account and give them your credit card. You must agree to be subject to Kansas Statute 45-230: Unlawful Use of Names Derived from Public Records. This statute imposes on those subject to it "a civil penalty in an action brought by the attorney general or county or district attorney" of up to "$500 for each violation."
