Both vehicles came to a rest in the right side ditch.

Torres's injuries were minor. Torres was taken by ambulance to Ku Medical Center.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the 2023 Freightliner Semi Tractor with Missouri license plate number 3234332 damage was unknown. This vehicle was insured. The Guarantee Company of North America insured this vehicle. This vehicle was removed by Santa Fe Tow. The police also said, "Vehicle was hauling a 2016 Utility Trailer bearing Indiana Plate P632139."
