Desarae Hooks Injured in a Crash on March 06, 2022 in Sherman County, Kansas

Desarae Hooks of Little Elm, Texas was injured on Sunday, March 06, 2022 at 04:15 PM in Sherman County, Kansas. Hooks is a 16-year-old girl.

Vehicle 1 [the 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche driven by Chrystal Aldaco] was Westbound on I70. When Vehicle 1 [the 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche driven by Chrystal Aldaco] crossed over a bridge it hit a patch of ice, causing the vehicle to lose control. Vehicle 1 [the 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche driven by Chrystal Aldaco] slid into the median, striking the Eastbound inside guardrail. Vehicle 1 [the 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche driven by Chrystal Aldaco] then overturned and came to rest on its top in the Eastbound driving lane.

Injuries

Hooks's injuries were minor. Hooks was taken by ambulance to Goodland Regional Medical Center.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche with Texas license plate number AW63531 damage was unknown. This vehicle was removed by Alexs Radiator. The police said they do not know where the vehicle was taken.

In order to get the report through the KSHP website, you must create a Kansas.gov account and give them your credit card. You must agree to be subject to Kansas Statute 45-230: Unlawful Use of Names Derived from Public Records. This statute imposes on those subject to it "a civil penalty in an action brought by the attorney general or county or district attorney" of up to "$500 for each violation." Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
