Vehicle 1 was eastbound on US highway 24 when vehicle 1 crossed westbound traffic and left the roadway to the left entering into north ditch. Vehicle then proceeded to strike a field road and went airborne the rolled a unknown amount of times ejecting the driver then came to rest on the passengers side in a corn field.

The police said that Rubio-Gomez had fatal injury. Rubio-Gomez was taken to Citizen Medical Center.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2013 Ford Focus with Kansas license plate number 141JKY was totaled. It was insured by Farmer's Insurance. It was removed from the crash scene by 24/7 Towing and taken to Tow lot.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
The Kansas State Highway Patrol Trooper with badge number 452 wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned case number to this crash. The KSHP charges $5.00 for each copy of the report plus additional fees of $2.00 for each witness statement. But you can call 877-925-1969 to request a free copy of the report. In order to get the report through the KSHP website, you must create a Kansas.gov account and give them your credit card. You must agree to be subject to Kansas Statute 45-230: Unlawful Use of Names Derived from Public Records.
