Juan Fraire of Hugoton, Kansas was involved in a crash on Sunday, October 20th 2019 at 6:05 pm in Morton County, Kansas. Fraire is a 16-year-old boy.
In the crash, Fraire was riding in a 2000 Chevrolet New Tahoe. The crash happened here: Intersection of County Road Z and County Road 27 or 720 feet west on Road Z from Road 27 approx. 14 miles north of Rolla. The police described the crash like this:
Vehicle was traveling eastbound on Road Z. Vehicle became unstable and ran off the roadway to the right. Vehicle entered the south ditch and began to overturn, ejecting the driver. Vehicle came to rest on the passenger side.
Injuries
The police said that Fraire had suspected serious injury. Fraire was taken to Wesley Medical Center.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2000 Chevrolet New Tahoe with Kansas license plate number 331FGF was not stated. It was insured by State Farm. It was removed from the crash scene by T & B Towing.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
The Kansas State Highway Patrol Trooper with badge number K120 wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned case number 2019-015671 to this crash. The KSHP charges $5.00 for each copy of the report plus additional fees of $2.00 for each witness statement. But you can call 877-925-1969 to request a free copy of the report. In order to get the report through the KSHP website, you must create a Kansas.gov account and give them your credit card. You must agree to be subject to Kansas Statute 45-230: Unlawful Use of Names Derived from Public Records. This statute imposes on those subject to it "a civil penalty in an action brought by the attorney general or county or district attorney" of up to "$500 for each violation."
