Brent D Wikle of Morrill, Kansas was involved in a crash on Wednesday, April 3rd 2019 at 1:15 pm in Brown County, Kansas. Wikle is a 39-year-old man.
In the crash, Wikle was driving a 2006 Peterbilt Semi. The crash happened here: U73 230th Rd or U73 Milemarker 92.6 The police described the crash like this:
Vehicle 1 was traveling northbound on U.S. 73 Highway in the inside lane. At the 230th Street intersection, Vehicle 1 attempted to make a left turn and head west on 230th Street. Vehicle 1 failed to yield the right-of-way to Vehicle 2 traveling southbound in the outside lane. Vehicle 2 struck Vehicle 1 in its passenger's side doors. Both vehicles traveled off the roadway to the southwest of the intersection and down into the grass ditch where they came to rest.

The police said that Wikle had no apparent injury. Wikle may have gone to the hospital.

The Kansas State Highway Patrol Trooper with badge number K109 wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned case number 2019-005141 to this crash. The KSHP charges $5.00 for each copy of the report plus additional fees of $2.00 for each witness statement. But you can call 877-925-1969 to request a free copy of the report. In order to get the report through the KSHP website, you must create a Kansas.gov account and give them your credit card. You must agree to be subject to Kansas Statute 45-230: Unlawful Use of Names Derived from Public Records. This statute imposes on those subject to it "a civil penalty in an action brought by the attorney general or county or district attorney" of up to "$500 for each violation."
