Kalli Pfeifer of Russell, Kansas was involved in a crash on Thursday, October 4th 2018 at 10:15 pm in Russell County, Kansas. Pfeifer is a 16-year-old girl.
In the crash, Pfeifer was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Impala. The crash happened here: U40 at 183rd Street or 1 mile West of Russell on U 40 The police described the crash like this:
Vehicle was traveling west on U40 when the passenger-side wheels dropped off the right side of roadway. The driver overcorrected causing the vehicle to cross the roadway and enter the south ditch. The vehicle struck the embankment of 183rd Street and became airborne. Vehicle crossed the roadway, impacted the ground west of 183rd where it rolled one and a half times coming to rest on its top.
Injuries
Pfeifer was injured. Pfeifer was taken to Russell Regional Hospital.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2008 Chevrolet Impala with Kansas license plate number 106KRT was not stated. It was insured by Farm Bureau. It was removed from the crash scene by Black dog Tow.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
The Kansas State Highway Patrol Trooper with badge number K281 wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned case number 2018-014033 to this crash. The KSHP charges $5.00 for each copy of the report plus additional fees of $2.00 for each witness statement. But you can call 877-925-1969 to request a free copy of the report. In order to get the report through the KSHP website, you must create a Kansas.gov account and give them your credit card. You must agree to be subject to Kansas Statute 45-230: Unlawful Use of Names Derived from Public Records. This statute imposes on those subject to it "a civil penalty in an action brought by the attorney general or county or district attorney" of up to "$500 for each violation."
