Carlene Tyree Injured in a Crash on November 29, 2022 in Sedgwick County, Kansas

Carlene Abby Tyree of Park City, Kansas was injured on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 11:15 AM in Sedgwick County, Kansas. Tyree is a 23-year-old woman.

Vehicle 2 [the 2019 Ford F250 driven by Matthew Parks] and vehicle 1[the 2011 Toyota Camry driven by Carlene Tyree] were both south bound in lane 2 on I135, vehicle 1[the 2011 Toyota Camry driven by Carlene Tyree] was behind vehicle 2[the 2019 Ford F250 driven by Matthew Parks] and for unknown reason vehicle 1[the 2011 Toyota Camry driven by Carlene Tyree] failed to yield to the rear of vehicle 2[the 2019 Ford F250 driven by Matthew Parks], vehicle 1[the 2011 Toyota Camry driven by Carlene Tyree] then made and avoidance maneuver to the right, over corrected and stuck vehicle 2[the 2019 Ford F250 driven by Matthew Parks] on the passenger side front corner panel and then struck the KDOT retaining wall, coming to rest blocking lane 1.

Injuries

Tyree's injuries were minor. Tyree was taken by ambulance to Wesley Medical.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the 2011 Toyota Camry with Kansas license plate number D139192 damage was unknown. This vehicle was insured. Safe Auto insured this vehicle. This vehicle was removed by Kens Auto Tow. It was taken to Tow Lot.

The KSHP charges $5.00 for each copy of the report plus additional fees of $2.00 for each witness statement. But you can call 877-925-1969 to request a free copy of the report. In order to get the report through the KSHP website, you must create a Kansas.gov account and give them your credit card. You must agree to be subject to Kansas Statute 45-230: Unlawful Use of Names Derived from Public Records. This statute imposes on those subject to it "a civil penalty in an action brought by the attorney general or county or district attorney" of up to "$500 for each violation." Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
