Katherine Umbarger-Miller of Chanute, Kansas was involved in a crash on Friday, August 21st 2020 at 8:18 pm in Neosho County, Kansas. Umbarger-Miller is a 16-year-old girl.
In the crash, Umbarger-Miller was driving a 2019 Ford Mustang. The crash happened here: 35th Street just west of Plummer Road or .4 miles east of U169 Highway. The police described the crash like this:
Vehicle 1 stopped on the shoulder. Vehicle 2 stopped behind vehicle 1. As vehicle 1 began making a U-turn, vehicle 2 began to pass vehicle 1. Vehicle 1 and vehicle 2 collided and came to rest on the edge of the road.

The Kansas State Highway Patrol Trooper with badge number K439 wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned case number to this crash. In order to get the report through the KSHP website, you must create a Kansas.gov account and give them your credit card. You must agree to be subject to Kansas Statute 45-230: Unlawful Use of Names Derived from Public Records. This statute imposes on those subject to it "a civil penalty in an action brought by the attorney general or county or district attorney" of up to "$500 for each violation."
