Derrick Cottner of Wichita, Kansas was involved in a crash on Saturday, July 20th 2019 at 8:58 am in Ellsworth County, Kansas. Cottner is a 35-year-old man.

Vehicle 1 was eastbound on I70. Driver fell asleep and drifted into the median. Vehicle struck a drainage berm causing the vehicle to go airborne and vehicle came to rest on the passenger side facing west.

The police said that Cottner had suspected minor injury. Cottner was taken to Ellsworth Medical Center.

This statute imposes on those subject to it "a civil penalty in an action brought by the attorney general or county or district attorney" of up to "$500 for each violation."
