Ruth Schwerdfeger of Coolidge, Kansas was involved in a crash on Wednesday, August 15th 2018 at 5:05 pm in Hamilton County, Kansas. Schwerdfeger is a 84-year-old woman.

Vehicle 1 was traveling west bound on U50 when it crossed left of center. Vehicle 1 and vehicle 2 collided headlight to headlight. Vehicle 1 then made a counter clockwise 180 degree rotation coming to rest facing north east on the south bound shoulder. Vehicle 2 traveled for about 50 feet before jack-knifing and overturning, coming to rest facing north west in the north bound ditch.
